Don't know if you play video games or not, but it looks like you should be an artist for them! That looks DEAD ON like you were an environmental designer for the video game Enslaved!! I love it!!!

I think it looks like the remains of a military base that once was heavily populated until world war 3 broke out causing mass destruction across the world.
If I could tell a story with this picture their would be no need because only 3 words can sum it up and it is fall out 3. This definitely is the most beautiful piece of abstract artwork I have seen in a while.

what brushes did you use? and can you give any tips to a noob?

i steal artwork from DA on a pretty regular basis for ideas for my pen and paper RPG :P. This is a great landscape (if it is a landscape). It is just vague enough to fit in either sci-fi or dark fantasy, but it still suggests a structure which is quite large and which spans a great chasm. It is nice and dramatic. If I ever finish with my project, and you're interested in doing some landscapes for an RPG which may never be published (lol), give me a message!

I see... a one existing civiliation that I could not possibly fathom.

It's fun to read the comments on this one ^^ So many different things, perspectives and interpretations. It takes talent to convey a scene that could be looked at so many different ways.

Ah, I see it: a future robotic version Homsar Runner up to his neck in a stream, being lambasted by a future robotic Strongbad on the near bank.

I definately see some "end-of-time" space station which is not located on planet Earth. somewhere in some desert-like area, maybe after an attack or war...i just like it...

Being a big fan of abstract art, i realy like this, it looks nice without defining waht it actualy is, and the beauty of it is, that not only everyone sees a different thing, but even same person can see different things once you see it over and over. :+fav:

Absolutely stunning piece of art. I wish I could paint like that. >>;
The color selection really makes it feel chilly a bit with a slight touch of light by the Sun. Feels good to look at it.

it reminds me of some force on a planet that drags in passing vehicles and drives them into the ground to devour them! and its excellent, like most of your work.

Wow, nice artwork! very si-fi, amazing
StaticFactory Featured By Owner Mar 21, 2007
Very cool...kinda reminds me of what the desolate, futuristic end of the human race might look like. Aaand, since I live and breathe sci-fi...I think that this is just amazing :D :+fav:

I hope you don't mind if I use this as the background for my wide-screen laptop--it would make my compy look cool ^^

I seee.... alien ships fallen out of the sky after a great space battle.

sans2012 Featured By Owner Mar 6, 2007
Well I like it a lot.

I see human civilization devastated after a total nuclear assault. The few surviving population only have scraps to build there shelters with now.

Very cool concept:)

Very cool. speaking of which....
This, to me, looks like some sort of communications array station on a very cold, snow covered world/region. They look similar to human antenna dishes, but alien at the same time. I really like the lights and the reflection details on the ground.

Good stuff all 'round!
